Period missed & pregnancy test not confi

Hi, My wife periods missed and we had a pregnancy test via kit and the result was negative. Her last periods was on 13th of April. And its been 1 month 15 days for today. Please suggest as to what medication should be taken care of.?? Many thanks in advance. Regards, Vikram
