Time is variable for different women. Some get it as early as 3 months, other may take 8-9 months. If you are regularly breastfeeding, it may take longer than 6 months to return. I would still advise you to use contraception as pregnancy can occur even when periods have not resumed

When did you get your delivery done?
Also, use contraception during intercourse to avoid pregnancy even when periods are absent.
it actually depends from person to person but if the baby is totally on mothers milk then we dont expect menstrual cycle to resume till 6months
