I missed my ocp for 3 months following which I had tremendous hairfall.Loosing clumps of hair everyday.Consulted a doctor online here and he suggested me FINASTERIDE (5mg) for 2 weeks. I found that Finasteride has major side effects for WOMEN and it doesn't work before 3 months. Should I take finasteride for 2 weeks ..will it help my hairfall? Please reply fast.

Hi... noted your concern... see any changes it really require    3 to 6 months... because hair growth cycle is around 3 months... next is using finasteride ..... for short durationnof time no issues... but before that .. have you checked.. Thyroid status, ferritin levels...
