Pause 500 to stop menstrual bleeding

Asked for Female, 37 Years

I had taken ipill in mid may after which june periods were fine.But in july am having periods bleeding since 20 days.So doc has advised me pause 500 for 5 days 2 times a day.Now am in 2nd day but the bleeding stops for some hrs and starts again.I have taken 4 pills till now. Please can you let me know how long if takes for periods to stop and how soon pause 500 takes effect for that.

If bleeding is heavy you can take pause tablet thrice a day too. It might take upto 5 days.. Continue the meds.
