Part of my molar chipped
A part of my second molar chipped off yesterday,there is no pain now.i just want to know how to avoid any further damage to tooth and what kind of treatment it will require

Hello as I can understand from your question that probably when you were biting on something really hard a part of teeth got chipped off. Now depending on the amount of damage which has to be assessed clinically and on xray a restoration or root canal treatment has to be done.
Next Steps
Visit a nearby qualified dentist who also ascertains there is no fracture inside the teeth.

Avoid biting unusually hard substances with your teeth.
