Painful Vericose Veins
My mil is a diabetic and a stroke patient. Currently she has been having lot of pain in her calves due to varicose veins. As suggested by a physician we got a dopler scan done and attached are her reports. Can a doctor suggest what should be the next step of medicines, further tests or specialist consultation. Thanks.

We have to look at her suffering from other angle. The Doppler is normal. Basically she has calf muscle tightness due to they feeling overused. The tight calf muscles lead to varicose veins, not seen on Doppler, and lead to swelling as the ankle movements are reduced.
Next Steps
have to identify and reduce the activities that are causing stress on the calf muscle and difficult to perform. wear appropriate footwear. address her knee pains which are likely to be there.
Health Tips
We can do a teleconsultation or a clinic consultation if you want.
