Pain killer for migraine
Hi Sir, I have migraine since last few years which happens once a week and i was taking naproxen 500 for pain relief since last 8 years. It worked fine for migraine but had serious side effects with time mainly heartburn and acidity. I want to switch to a better medicine with less side effects, I was adviced rizact 5mg by a doctor, which i tried once but it didn't relieve headache. Please advice Regards Akhilesh

Hi You can try prophylaxis for prevention of migration like Propranolol, provided you do not have bronchial asthma and cardiac illness. You can ask your doctor for the same. If Naproxen causes you acidity then you can take it after food or can take antacid syrup along with this. Hope this helps you. Thanks and regards.
