Pain in waist
I've been having back and waist pain for more than a month now. I went for a consultation before but the medicines didn't work. I had an x-ray done, and there were no issues with my bone. I was told by the doctor that I have lumbar sprain. However, bed rest and medicines are not working to reduce the pain.

Hello there,,,,well there are multiple causes for backpain,,,from simple muscle spasm to more complex problems like stenosis or prolapse disc... Also the history of your pain is necessary,,,like how did it start, type of pain,,,is the pain in back region or you get tingling and numbness also in the legs....various causes needs to be ruled out......also sometime kidney stones cause a typical back pain (waist line) so you need to check that as well.
Next Steps
if possible get a second opinion. MRI for lumbar spine sonography to rule out kidney stones. regards & take care.
