Pain in upper side of abdomen
Hi, My wife is having pain in her upper right side abdominal area. The pain is sharp and lasts for 2-5 seconds and again keeps occurring withing few intervals of time for the same 2-5 seconds. Even when she inhales during breathing it pains in upper right side area of the abdomen. What can be causing this ? What is medication you can prescribe for this ? Kindly help

Good morning.. The point of location ur history gives and the type of pain she has suggests like gall bladder stones or could be some other cause too.may be a muscle spasm too. Get a scan to rule out the problem. For pain she can take Tab. Ultracet twice daily. - Should consult a General surgeon
