Pain in the waist
My father met with an accident He had injured his upper right thigh and minor injuries on forehead, hand, elbow, waist His treatment was done in an hospital casualty ward for few says like dressing After a weeks time all his injuries started getting cured and he is better. However he is complaining about pain in his waist. He is unable to sit or stand for a longer time.

I think the answer is simple. Go & see a orthopedic. A Casualty just provides you emergency treatment. Given his age he needs a proper work up. I don't think Internet is a substitute to clinical examination.

The wrist joint needs to be assessed again in order to understand the cause of pain. Start with basic mobility exercises for the upper and lower body and gradually progress to strengthening exercises. Stretching will also help.
