Pain in the legs at night
Hi Doctor my child is just 5 years old and the whole day he fine but at night during sleep he feels severe pain in his legs so kindly suggest me why this is happening and what to do. I have consulted some of the general physicians during the last two months they use to say this may happen due to calcium deficiency.

This is known as. growth pains and is because of growth of the child during growing age. usually occurs in night and around knees and ankle. Give mild painkillers and can tie something around the legs for psychological support. consult a Ortho surgeon.
