Participated in a marathon last month. couple of days before the marathon day, had pain in shin bone area. I used sports pain relief spray and did marathon. post that had lot of pain in lower legs. Its been a month now, though the pain has gone more or less but I did a Vitamin D and Vitamin B12 test. Results are

This condition is also known as MTSS.../SHIN SPLINTS. .
It needs very specialist treatment from a sports physio with expertise in myofascial trigger points release therapy manually or with dry needling and kinesiolocial taping application with cupping....
Even in dry needling he/she has to go with periosteal pecking techniques ..

if u wanna again. participate marathons to r in future ...then follow what I said ...only way to get exact stability with mobility.

Both the vitamin values are on the lower side, see your Gp for a prescription. Coming to your shin pain detailed history and asseasment is needed to come to a diagnosis and plan further treatment.
