Pain in right ovary
After US abdomen report my right ovary is enlarged in size 55*43mm due to that i hv frequent pain in my stomach ...i have consult to gynecologlist she suggest me to take femilon for 21 days and emanzen-D for 5 days ...please tel me that she has recommend me rite tablets or not ..im in confusion ....will dese tablets have sm side effects ? please let me knowj

Hello, The cause of this enlargement is often cyst formation. Other causesinclude endometriosis, benign tumors and, rarely, ovarian cancer. Many types of cysts can grow within the ovary, such as those called functional cysts that form during menstruation. What the cause mentioned in your sacn report??? Please get back with complete scan report. While you are taking hormonal therapy , which are treatment for some of causes of enlarged ovaries, yes it has few side effects but befits overweigh the risks, please continue the medicines as your doctor prescribed.
