The patient are 7 year old boy and at the time of playing he was start some pain, i went  to local doctor and take x-ray but he suggest for ok with belt and give some medicine. Can you advise plaster are best option or belt

There is undisplaced fracture in the 5th metatarsal Better to immobilise with cast at least for 3-4 weeks and nill weight bearing for 3-4 weeks Other wise fracture may get displaced if weight bearing done
