There is pain in right hand specially thumb movement causes lot of pain for past 2 week. Took pain killers but no help

The location of the pain suggests possibility of overuse of the right hand like grasping or holding an heavy object repetitively. You can watch your own daily activity and avoid doing it. Another possibility is it could be part of arthritis involving other joints as well.
