Pain in mastoid and tonsiller area
Pain in left ear and mastoid region of left ear and tonsiller region .CT & x-ray tells nothing but b/l styloid process 40-50 mm but more pain in left side somtimes less pain in right side which is enlarge than left styloid process.mri neck nornal .

You could be suffering from Eagle's Syndrome or Glossopharyngeal Neuralgia where the glossopharyngeal nerve ( 9th Cranial Nerve) which conducts sensation from parts of tongue, throat, eustachian tubes and the middle ear to the brain, gets compressed against the overly ossified styloid process especially when you are swallowing giving rise to a sharp pain as described by you.
