Hi,
From last one week I had pain in my lower teeth. Not sure what to do. Also not sure what is the cause.

Yes pain is due to cavity or loss of some structure of enamel. Wheather you feel continuous pain or pain at some interval, you will definitely need dental check up. If any treatment will need than you will be explained by dentist.
