Pain in lower abdomen 6th month pregnant
Hi Doctor, My wife is suffering from pain in lower abdomen, pain is similar to the pain during periods. We consulted our doctor after 3 days, doctor gave proloton Depot injection. Also doctor asked to check hemoglobin and urine culture. Hemoglobin is in range but Urine has colony count of 100000. So doctor also prescribed Niftas 100mg tablets for 5 days and bed rest. It is already 3 days since she had the injection but still the pain is not reduced. We are worried about this pain, is it normal? And bed rest means can she walk inside house or is it required to sleep completely? Thanks in advance.

Hello, She is suffering from urinary tract infection. Ask her to take the prescribed medicine by her doctor and she should drink lots of water. She should not hold urge to urination. Bed rest means she should lie down mostly except for going to toilet. Regards
