I would advise you to meet an orthopedician so that you can be examined and undergo investigations such as X-Ray, etc. to find the underlying problem and have it treated accordingly. Ideally you should've had your screws removed long ago and your current situation has to be evaluated to decide on removal. If the condition persist or worsens visit the orthopedician at the earliest

In the first place , if the fracture is healed then you must have removed the screw long ago. secondly please make sure your are not confusing screw with K-wires.
Logically if the Screw is of Appropriate size then there should not be any Pain as such . But if you feel that the cause is screw only. get yourself an X-ray done and rule out the problem.
Next Steps
X-ray and then if required Surgery. Though it will certainly be very difficult, but not impossible,
Hello.... I can understand your problem.. But you haven't mentioned type of surgery you underwent 7 years back .usually screws in knee joint are used in ACL tear reconstruction ......Get an X-ray of knee joint ,if pain is due to screw doctor will remove it. Consult orthopedic surgeon...
