My cousin is 11 years old and he is having frequent knee pain after doing activities such as running, cycling and playing.
This is the Xray, kindly help us understand what could be the next course of treatment

This treatment is being suggested on bases of the information provided. However I would like to examine & investigate your cousin in detail.
-Control Hypertension, Diabetes or metabolic disorder, if there is any.
- Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding.
- Keep a pillow under the knee.
- Avoid painful acts & activities.
- Fomentation with warm water. -Let the part not be exposed cold.
-Do mild exercises for the affected part.- lower limbs
-Any way it may be tried,

Did he had any injury over the knee joint.
The x ray films are not very clear and doesn't suggest any clear injury.
Next Steps
You can start with Hot fomentation, start analgesic with anti inflammatory medicine, apply crepe bandage. If pain persists, it would be better to get clinically evaluated and plan for further investigations if needed.
