This pain is possibly due to local inflammation of soft tissue towards the base of heel, a condition known as plantar fasciitis.. This causes pain and swelling towards the bony attachment of plantar fascia..
Next Steps
You can start with subsequent hot and cold fomentation for 10 min. atleast for 3 to 4 times daily, take analgesic with anti inflammatory medicine, use soft sole footwear for full day even at home.
Health Tips
You can start with ankle movement exercises specially in morning before placing the heel on ground..
