The first thing you should do is to get him examined by a doctor and preferably a cardiologist. Then he should get an ECG, chest x ray and echo done. The further test (like treadmill test or angiography etc.) required can be decided then by your cardiologist according to the results of these tests. Get an ECG done...since he is young it may be due to non cardiac causes most commonly due to gastritis...try eating several small meals instead of three large ones whenever you can...Avoid foods that irritate your stomach, especially those that are spicy, acidic, fried or fatty... avoid coffee,tea etc... Avoid stress,consider calming activities, such as meditation, yoga etc...sleep with head raised position and have dinner at least 2 hours before sleep..do regular exercises...take pantaprazole 40 mg twice daily before food with above....consult physician if symptoms persists.
