Hello there....dont worry i have seen lot of cases with same problem however having it at both the thumb line is rare....it is called as de quevirons disease its swelling of the thumb tendons.... Anti inflammatory medications having serratiopeptidase (on prescription) would be helpful...along with local ultrasound therapy with anti inflammatory gel (minimum 5 settings) required....also thumb spica splint would be of immense benefit.... litrature says the inflammation would subside in 3 weeks without straining the thumb.... however practically 10 days you would be relieved with 80% of your symptoms. Regards & take care.

Hello. This is De Quervain's disease. Consult a physiotherapist and start Ultrasound therapy for 15 days. It will be fine. Avoid using thumb on the mobile screen. This is a Gamers thumb.
