I understand that you are getting pain when you do the activities that you normally do. Check have you changed the technique, handgrip etc recently. Your age could also be a reason. One other reason could be increased stress level.
But what ever the case warm up and cool down exercises will help. A structured exercise program can be started once the pain subsides.
