Pain below right rib cage
I have been having pain right below my right rib cage for the past 4-5 days. I woke up in the morning with pain below the rib cage. It hurts while turning sides and strecthing. The pain is managable. Initially, i thought it to be a muscle pull and applied moov and other ointments hoping that the pain would subside. But, it continues to persist. It hurts when I touch it. Could it be the gall bladder diesease. I am just speculating but any suggestion would be welcome.

hello!! this could be gall bladder disease. you have not clearly mentioned about the exact location of pain down the rib cage!!is it in front side or over the side aspect of tummy below rib cage! mostly lateral trunk rotators and intercostal muscles (muscles between ribs) can project such pain while turning sides or even while breathing in. muscles are deeper in this region and their orientation makes it difficult to release that muscle spasm or pull.
Next Steps
visit some experienced physiotherapist. if pain is unbearable then you may see a orthopedic first.
Health Tips
dont try to stretch it on your own.
