Pain and swelling in knee
I have pain and much swelling in my left knee and surrounding since last one month..i consulted an ortho.he first gave me painkillr(flexura) and since i have mps and m on medication since past few years my body now dont accept alopathic medicines..after taking flexura there was no relief then he suggstd me uric acid test(which is normal) and said he don't think there is some internal injury as pain n swelling was sudden,he gave me macvestin 500 and cartilage duo..pain was somewhat btr bt swelling was there,it caused too much gas and as soon as i stopped taking medicines pain returned..now i have pain and swelling in knee and surrounding..i even doubt my mps has travelld from back down to my legs..m clueless..plz help asap!

There are enormous cause for knee swelling... example: Bursitis,ligament injury n inflammatory arthritis Whether it is after any trauma??? Kindly get urself evaluated by a pain physician... I cannot comment anything without evaluating u clinically....
