Pain after Ear Wax Removal
I just had my ear wax removal done today. Was prescribed ear drops a week back and the wax removal was done manually and wasn't painful at all. However after the wax removal I feel pressure in ear and pain. Is this normal? Doctor has prescribed Calpol and Zoxwax drops and Allrite DC tablet. How long will this persist?

Usually pain after wax removal is due to infection of the external ear canal known as acute otitis externa. You may need to take antibiotics and painkillers along with antibiotic ear drops
Next Steps
Consult nearby ENT specialist for confirmation of diagnosis and appropriate treatment if required. Meanwhile you can use candibiotic ear drops three drops three times daily
