Over weight issue
Hi Doctor, My wife is 30 years old and her height is 5'3". Her weight is 90 kgs. She wants to reduce her weight and for this she does morning walk for around 30 minutes. She is controlling her diet as well (only taking two chapatis in lunch) and only rice with daal at dinner. But nothing is working and she is gaining 2-3 kgs every month. Her CBC, LFT,KFT, Thyroid, HbA1c reports are absolutely normal. Please suggest what to do now. She wants to be slim again like other girls of her age.

For losing weight in a healthy and permanent way : 1. Maintain meal gaps: maintain meal gaps of not more than 3 hours is very important. It boosts up the metabolism and helps in weight loss. 2. Include dandelion tea in your diet, consume it 2-3 times. You can buy it online easily. 3. Include seasonal fruits and vegetables in your diet in the form of smoothies and soups. 4. Walk atleast 10k steps a day. 5. Drink infused water: chop your fav fruits and herbs in water and enjoy.

Her ideal weight should be 53-55,since weight is too much it’s not easy to lose on her own rather she way go wrong. Physical activity is must
