Ovarian cyst
My younger sister have ovarian cyst and its detected and consulting from last 4 months but still not get cure.
Cyst size is more than 5 cms
She is 16 years old and doctors said to wait and get cure with medicine.
Plz suggest what we can do. Either operation or medicine treatment.how much time required to get recover.

Hi. When cyst is more than 4 cm it takes time to resolve. U need to shut down ovarian hormone for resolving the cyst. Treatment depends on if u have any clinical complaints. Cysts with plain clear fluid inside are easy to cure. I would like to have details as usg report. CA 125 etc before suggesting further
