My mother had a chemotherapy a year back for ovarian cancer.She was cured.But now again she has ascetic fluid in her abdomen.According to her latest USG reports her ovaries are not visible.Is she ovarian cancer developing again?

She needs ascitic fluid tapping to know whether any recurrence is there now. And depending on that further plan of action will be there.
Ca ovary is known cancer to cause recurrence. After therepeutuc fluid tapping, again chemotherapy to be started. If cancer recurs after 1 yr means, their prognosis is good. The same chemotherapy can be given again
