The average Indian male has a mouth opening of 80 to 90 mm. Oral submucus fibrosis is a common problem in patients chewing tobacco, zarda etc. Your limited mouth opening can cause not only inconvenience in eating but will also limit your ability to maintain oral hygiene. I suggest you take advise from your dentist and start treatment if needed.
