Around 2 years ago, I sustained a direct blunt injury to the bridge of my nose when my younger brother accidentally hit me with his head. I experienced immediate severe pain at the nasal bridge, followed by a visible red mark and tenderness that persisted for approximately 2 months.
Since the injury, a faint red mark has remained on the bridge of my nose along with a slight visible crack. The nasal structure does not feel the same as before the injury.
In addition, I experience breathing difficulty, especially when lying down. The obstruction feels positional and was not present before the injury. There is no current pain, swelling, or frequent nosebleeds.
I previously consulted an ENT specialist who advised that it could not be treated at that time. I am seeking a re-evaluation to determine whether there is a healed nasal fracture or internal structural issue contributing to my breathing difficulty, and to understand what treatment options may still be available.
