Oily skin & pigmentation
I have very oily skin. I avoid eating oily foods and eat fruits and home good mostly. I also exercise daily. Lately visible pores have started developing on my face and also my face is comparatively darker than other body parts. I also occasionally get pimples and they leave dark spots. I don't touch them. Also I get small pimple like things on my forehead. I have been maintaining a good lifestyle for some times with a good diet, but my oily skin is not getting better, also I easily get dark in Sun, despite using a sunscreen. Please guide.

Hi ! Some people do have overactive glands which makes their skin more oily. The most important point here is that the skin reacts exactly opposite. If you have oily skin and you try to remove that oil, then the skin will only produce more oil. These tips should help you. 1. Avoid using different products and harsh face washes etc. 2. Use a simple mild soap. 3. Dab off the extra oil with a plain handkerchief. 4. Splash water 4 to 6 times a day. 5. A regular exercise or yoga improves oxygen supply to the skin helping it to breathe 6. Once a week use a deep pore cleansing lotion 7. Avoid steam on face 8. Use a gel based sunscreen 9. Reduce refined sugar, junk and oil in diet.
