Numbness in Left leg from him to foot
I am having pain in Left leg from hip to foot area.calf muscle is stiff. In hip area at a particular location/area pain is there. Symptoms suggest condition of Sciatica. I am doing physical exercise to get relief.

Stop excercises first . If in pain u do exercise it will increase ur pain . Take rest   n better to take physiotherapy treatment  in physio center near by you to get relief from ur pain . Nerve is involved  that why pain is radiating

Hello First of all i will suggest don't do exercise in intense pain . Rest ur muscle, try to bring the muscles of back and hip in normal tone by use hot water heating pads. Once pain get lowers than go for exercise. And try to visit physio so as to evaluate at the best. Get well soon.

Do Back extension exercises and straight leg raising exercise 2 times daily for 15 minutes along with superficial heat pad application for 20 minutes /3 times daily.

Visit physiotherapy clinic and take electrotherapy treatment for 10 days. Apply hot pack twice a day to area of pain in hip, of the exercises giving you pain and no relief then dont do any exercises.

How long you are suffering from this problem, When and how it has started , and also some info about ur daily routine, At this age You are more probably to have - lower extremity muscle dysfunction, with the same clinical symptoms.

Hello mam, please do consult a physiotherapist in personal and for a proper treatment plan. They will suggest the home exercises for sciatica.Apply jot and cold packs alternatively at lower back 2 times a day to reduce inflammation and enhance blood and relax strained muscles.

Avoid sleeping on the pain side, put pillow in between your thighs to relieve pressure on the compresses nerve in side sleeping, avoid prolong sitting, cross leg position while sitting can irritate the nerve further. Walking will help relieve your pain.

Please do not go for any kind of exercises you will end up with more trouble . Advised frequent rest in between work .

Sciatica is not a diagnosis mam. The underlying cause needs to be addressed. A detail of type of physical exercise you are doing needs to be checked. Secondly the problem may lie at your lower back area (lumbar region) or at your hip. That can be differentiated only by examination.
Next Steps
So avoid any aggressive physical exercises. Avoid forward bending Hot fomentations two to three times a day at hip and back may give symptomatic relief. Consult a Physiotherapist for examination of root cause of your condition. He will advice you with electrotherapy and exercise therapy as per your customisation.
