Normal plain film lumbar spine
My wife is in pain in the lumbar area after delivery. Doctor suggested to have an X-ray. X Ray report says, Normal plain film lumbar spine. What does that mean, and what's the treatment? Please help.

Pain postpartum is primarily because of poor abdominal muscle tone. Ask her to strengthen core and gluteal muscles and lowerlimb streching exercises.

Back pain with out leg pain usually settles with physio. Once pain settles do back muscle strengthening exercises. Drink plenty of water to avoid dehydration because dehydrated disc is more prone to injury. Consult your doctor

Exercises, hot water compression and avoid excess froward bending.

It may be muscular and mechanical pain

Pl do stretching exercise yoga and spinal extension exercise If pain does not go please do mri of  lumbar spine spine
