Normal delivery
Hi one of my friend is pregnant and wanted to know if she can deliver baby normal or she has to do ceaserian because when she was 8years old she was operated for appendix as in those days the options were less. The cut is eight stitch long on the lower abdomen towards left side

Caserian section not depend only one deciding factor..... That should be decide on pt pelvic area, baby weight, conditions of pt at time of labour, contraction, fetal parameter... This can be judged by only the doctor who examining the patient... So discuss these things with the doctor under whom she registered....

Hello..... No that will not affect course of delivery, previous cesarean section is itself a relative contraindication for normal vaginal delivery, if she has some other problem associated with this she could be taken for cesarean section ....that old scar would have healed completely don't worry.
