I am 44 years old & have a wound about 1.5 inch wide & a quarter inch deep on my lower right foot since last 4 years. Recently Debridement has been done & antibiotics (cefoperazone-s & amikasin) are being administered. A dressing of ampucare & thick bandage is being done daily. I am anxious to get rid of this wound as early as possible. Pl. Advise

The wound will take its time to heal.. keep dressing it regularly and avoid infection by keeping it clean.. in case you are diabetic keep your sugar levels in control..
Control u r sugar level ....eat healthy ....do exist rcuse ...drinklit if water.....dont worry ...relax .......after doing this ut will healed automatically......relax..dont give up..
Hello.. Wound healing depends on many factors like site of wound, type of infection, associated factors like diabetes, hypertension, etc... Heel is weight bearing area so healing gets delayed in that region, if it's associated with diabetes, it goes further.... With regular dressing wound heals.
