Hello practo user Insomnia is a sleep disorder and I can understand how it might have been affecting your daily life . Sleep could be disturbed due to some stress in your life. To improve your sleep try to relax before going to bed : Have a warm bath, listen to quiet music or do some gentle yoga to relax the mind .Turn Your Bedroom into a Sleep-Inducing Environment : Your bedroom should be a peaceful place for rest and sleep. Temperature, lighting and noise should be controlled so that your bedroom environment helps you to fall asleep. You should also try and not work on your bed and limit the time on your phone once you try to sleep . It would be beneficial if you consult a clinical psychologist for better management of symptoms through regular counseling session. You can also reach out to me through practo app for further help and guidance.

Dear mam Sleep problems can occur due to a number of factors like stress, excessive use of electronic devices, physical health conditions like thyroid abnormality and mental health problems like depression or anxiety. There are few techniques to help you sleep well, try not to nap or sleep during the day time, restrict use of mobile / laptop at night, restrict use of nicotine caffeine and alcohol, keep your room comfortable, exercise in the morning, try meditation before sleeping.if all this does not help, see a psychiatrist for a detailed evaluation and Treatment. Thanks Dr Ankita Mishra
