No dengue but platelets reduced to 1.1
Doctor my Husband had fever for 5 days. At that time and all platelet 1.6. Past two days his body very chill and today we checked platelet count and Ns1 antigen test. Platelet 1.1 and dengue negative. Confused what to do

Hi, Don't worry.. As these tests may have false negative reports. In other viral infection, malaria etc may cause low platelet count. You should get it investigated in detail. Complete blood count, Dengue NS1 antigen and IgM antibody and malaria antigen test, Blood culture. Temperature charting and Tab Paracetamol 500mg thrice daily. He may also require antibiotics.
