Using a mouthwash is like giving a final touch to the brushing schedule. But, its not a substitute for brushing. brushing removes the plaque over the teeth. which can't be removed by mouthwash. It just reduces the bacteria count in mouth but, doesn't help with reducing chances of having caries.
