NG tube feeding
My grandmother was admitted in hospital for a week and during that period they were feeding her through ng tube since he has dementia and doctors felt it would be easy to feed her though the tibe. During discharge i told them to remove the ng tube. Now when i am trying to feed her though mouth she is spilling out everything. I feel she is adapted to take food through pipe and breathe through mouth. Will the condition improve with days or pipe is the only solution.

Its best to discuss this with the treating physician as its important to know why she was admitted and why was the ng tube put.
