My month old newborn baby girl takes mixed feeding ( 30 ml formula twice in 12 hours) otherwise breast milk, however She remains hungry even after formula and demands my milk each feeding session almost 45 minutes - 1 hour long. I do not wish to overfeed her and this is confusing sometimes. Is it normal for newborns to behave like this ?

Please check if there are any mechanical issues preventing her from getting a smooth flow of milk ( breast/nipple issues/incorrect latching by baby). On average babies take 10 to 15 mts each side at each feed
Next Steps
Check urine output, weight gain to know about adequacy of feed.

The new born may prefer breast feeding to formula and that’s okay .
Gradually with growth and age, the feeding times will decrease.
Nothing to worry about
