  4. New born baby sleeps more. Medicine?

New born baby sleeps more
I have a 8 day old baby girl. She sleeps alot through out the day and doesn't drink milk properly. She hardly feeds for 1-2 mins and again sleeps. We try alot wake her up but she keeps sleeping. Can someone please help what can we do here? Do we need to give her some medicine? Please suggest

Hi, Newborns usually sleep more during days and stays awake during night... You should monitor weight,if baby is gaining weight then nothing to worry...
