For 10 days old, no medicine is required. Runny nose is rare in 10 day child while sneezing is a sign of normal brain development, need not to worry for that. Nasoclear nasal spray, 4 to 5 times a day is enough. The mild cold may be the gurgling sound from the chest and it happens due to reflux of milk so burp the child for 30 minutes. Need to keep baby warm. Head has the maximum heat loss so need to cover the head. Also socks and gloves to keep the periphery warm. Babies sweat a lot due to feeds every 2 or 3 hours and high metabolic activity so it is going to happen and not to worry.
