Nerve pain in the back
My grandfather was lifting a bucket of water.soon after he experienced a severe pain in the back which he claims to be a nerve pain or muscle pain.he is unable to stand and walk.A local  doctor treated him and told him to take tablets.still it didn't work out.What doctor should i consult and what is the cause of the pain and it's remedies ?Kindly help

It can be due to the disc bulge, leading to nerve compression, pain travels down to the thigh. Patient walks with a tilt, unable to walk straight. Pain increases while sneezing /coughing.

Go to a physiotherapist.. Ultrasonic therapy +IFT +Heating therapy +some strengthening exercises will be helpful for sure.
