A clinical examination and x-ray of the tooth is required first to know the condition of the remaining tooth. Only after that further treatment plan can be discussed.

hello,
you need to get an x-ray done of that tooth. if the root canal treatment has been done properly, then you need not get it done again. charges for a ceramic crown depend on the type of crown you choose. any good ceramic crown costs from Rs. 3000-15000/-.
Only crown will be done but you should go for radiographic diagnosis once again.
Regarding crown there are so many recent advances are there to improve esthetic of your teeth. And charges for that will depend on material, technique, good laboratory and your dental surgeons skill. It is very skillfull job which needs proper care and out come will depend on vision of your dental surgeon.

Hi, First a xray would be taken to evaluate the root canal filling & then ceramic cap put.But first the reason for cap chipping should be found out to prevent such chipping in the long run.The chipping may be bcoz of less thickness of ceramic ,less tooth height or heavy bite. The cost of cap varies.
Hello,
As a root canal specialist, the first thing we need to check is the condition of the existing tooth structure, whether part of the tooth also is fractured along with the crown and also reason out as to why the existing crown broke and any reinforcement is required?
If there is no issues with the RCT done,we might just modify the preparation and provide you a good fitting crown.Regards,Dr Sumanmakam,Dental arts, jayanagar,Bangalore
Usually they don't won't do Rct again..
And if u r in cities like chennai the dentist might have given u warranty card (if it was applicable) for the crown.. u can get it replaced for free..
all u will be charged is for the impression taken and crown fixing...
Mostly you will need crown replacement only, Still, need to examine clinically, whether their is any caries on previous restored teeth and IOPA to evaluate RCT.
