Neck and shoulder pain

Asked for Male, 22 Years

There was a sudden pain which started from the neck and after half an hour the pain led to the shoulder. I am sure that the vein that starts from the neck and runs through the arms, is trapped. It has caused severe severe pain . I couldn't sleep the entire night.what should I do.please help

if numbness or burning/ sharp pain is coming down in the whole upper limb, nerve may be compressed at the neck region, clinical exam is required to confirm pain origin from neck, shoulder or nerve entrapment anywhere in whole upper limb. Accordingly investigations will be required to confirm cause like MRI OR NERVE CONDUCTION TESTS
