Nail fungal
I am being faced with nail fungus in my finger nails which is not able to be contained with any Anti fungal or Antibiotic.. topical solutions and other medication have been tried and i have been diagonised for too much of an intake of such medication over 3 months and i witness the infection spreading to other nails which is well defined as to be not contained by any means.

? Onychomycosis(fungal infection)
Need to be confirmed by doing KOH &fungal culture &sensitive by taking nail scrapping & nail clipping. Accordingly we need to select the antifungal depending on sensitivity of the organisms. It takes long time to find the results bcoz penetration of the drugs to nail structure is very poor that too toe nails takes more time than finger nails. Sometime all nail changes may not be fungal infection it may be also inflammatory diseases like, nail psoriasis/nail LP..etc need to be ruled out by nail biopsy.
So choosing a proper oral antifungal (pulse therapy)is the key it may take 3-6 months or else 1 year also.
Topical application like loceryl nail laquer ..etc may be helpfull.
