If you have not previously been vaccinated or if your existing vaccination out of date, then you should make sure you should see a Doctor and receive a TT within 24 hrs of the dog bite incident. This ensures that symptoms of tetanus will not have a chance to develop.
Dog bite could lead to local wound infection, tetanus or rabies that could come from either the saliva of the bites, skin flora of victim.
