Hello, I understand your situation and I am sure it is the right time to act on to ensure she does not gain unhealthy weight. Please make sure she is physically very active and engaged. Cut down all junk foods stored at home and encourage healthy snacking such as fruits, nuts , milk, curd etc. Also divert the child from asking for unhealthy foods. Avoid all sugar based foods and use honey or jaggery for sweetening if needed.
Next Steps
It may require parents support too and when you follow healthy eating it becomes easy for the child to follow as they learn by imitating.
